Revegetation Workshop Webinar - October 19th - 11:00am

Join us Thursday, October 19th from 11:00am-12:30pm MST for our Revegetation Workshop Webinar! This webinar will be focused on techniques and challenges to re-establish vegetation using appropriate plant materials (seed) and soil fertility strategies. The workshop will be led by Bill Agnew & Tom Bowman.

Learning Objectives & Goals: Attendees will learn from practical experience and gain the knowledge necessary to manage and protect their projects using appropriate vegetation.

  • Recognizing the problem and identifying potential solutions;
  • Understand the benefits of establishing annual/perennial plants and the challenges of seed collection and species availability;
  • Gain the tools to develop an effective vegetation planting plan with insight into key soil enhancement requirements and erosion mitigation strategies;
  • Introduction to state-of-the-industry erosion and sediment control materials and techniques;
  • Practice balancing common sense conservation practices, effective soil enhancement strategies and vegetation (seed) into successful reclamation outcomes;
  • Learn from successful stories (projects) where vegetation was the permanent solution to mitigate long-term environmental impacts.
